报 告 人：Dr Robin Wilson
工作单位：University of Nottingham
Robin Wilson has a degree in Building and a PhD in Building Acoustics. His research career started under the supervision of Bob Craik, exploring sound transmission through double and triple leaf walls to develop models for use in Statistical Energy Analysis. His postdoctoral research was completed at the University of Hull working with Alan Cummings on European funded research into sound transmission through aerospace structures in collaboration with Airbus, Fokker, SAAB, DASA and Snekma. Robin took up his first lecturing post in 1996 at the University of Nottingham and contributes to the delivery of teaching in the area of building physics and its overlaps with architectural design. In addition to cofounding Nottingham’s successful masters programme in Renewable Energy and Architecture, he has served as course director for an innovative undergraduate programme that combines architecture and environmental design. His research has branched out from acoustics to include all aspects of energy use and environmental design within the built environment supported by funding from industry and research councils. Robin has been a vice dean for the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences and is currently the Head of Department for Architecture and Built Environment.
