Hanxiong Li is a full professor in the Department of Systems Engineering and Engineering Management, the City University of Hong Kong. Over the last thirty years, he has had opportunities to work in different fields, including military service, investment, industry, and academia. He published over 190 SCI journal papers with h-index 36 (ISI web of science). He has been rated as highly cited Chinese scholar by Elsevier since 2014. His current research interests are in system intelligence and control, integrated process design and control, distributed parameter systems, intelligent learning and decision informatics. Dr. Li serves as Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man & Cybernetics: system (2016- ), IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics (2002-2016), and IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics (2009-2015). He was awarded the Distinguished Young Scholar (overseas) by the China National Science Foundation in 2004, a Chang Jiang professor by the Ministry of Education, China in 2006, and a national professorship in China Thousand Talents Program in 2010. He serves as the distinguished expert for Hunan Government and China Federation of Returned Overseas. He is a fellow of the IEEE.

Wei Ren is currently a Professor with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of California, Riverside. He received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Brigham Young University, Provo, UT, in 2004. From 2004 to 2005, he was a Postdoctoral Research Associate with the Department of Aerospace Engineering, University of Maryland, College Park. He was an Assistant Professor (2005-2010) and an Associate Professor (2010-2011) with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Utah State University. His research focuses on distributed control of multi-agent systems and autonomous control of unmanned vehicles. Dr. Ren is an author of two books Distributed Coordination of Multi-agent Networks (Springer-Verlag, 2011) and Distributed Consensus in Multi-vehicle Cooperative Control (Springer-Verlag, 2008). He was a recipient of the National Science Foundation CAREER Award in 2008. He is currently an Associate Editor for Automatica, Systems and Control Letters, and IEEE Transactions on Control of Network Systems. He is an IEEE Fellow.

Professor Ji Wang has been a Qianjiang Fellow of Zhejiang Province at Ningbo University since 2002. Professor Ji Wang is the founding director of the Piezoelectric Device Laboratory, which is a designated Key Laboratory of City of Ningbo. Professor Ji Wang was employed at SaRonix, Menlo Park, CA, as a senior engineer from 2001 to 2002; NetFront Communications, Sunnyvale, CA, as senior engineer and manager from 1999 to 2001; Epson Palo Alto Laboratory, Palo Alto, CA, as Senior Member of Technical Staff from 1995 to 1999. Professor Ji Wang also held visiting positions at Chiba University, University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and Argonne National Laboratory. He received his PhD and Master degrees from Princeton University in 1996 and 1993 and bachelor from Gansu University of Technology in 1983. Professor Wang has been working on acoustic waves in piezoelectric solids for resonator design and analysis in his research with US and Chinese patents and over 120 journal papers. Professor Wang has been a member of many international conference committees and currently serving the IEEE UFFC Technical Program Committees of the Frequency Control and Ultrasonics Symposia, the IEEE MTT-S, and the IEC TC-49. From 2015, Profess Wang is the editor-in-chief of Structural Longevity.
